Dr. Katerina Rüedi Ray Lecturer, United States
Head of The School of Art, Bowling Green State University
Born in Czechoslovakia, Dr. Rüedi Ray attended school in England, where she received her Ph.D. in architecture in 1998 from the University of London. She earned her master of science degree in the history of modern architecture in 1991, and was registered as a chartered architect in 1992. Dr. Rüedi Ray’s academic career has included teaching in Chicago and London, plus as a visiting professor in the Czech Republic and in Canada. She served as co-director and then director of the Diploma (Graduate) School at Kingston University in London from 1989-96, while working as an architect in London. Ray has won several design awards, and has participated in numerous art and architecture competitions in the United States and Europe. She has also curated 11 exhibitions and given more than 50 invited lectures on art and architecture. |
